Love this grey wolf reel already. It took me a while to get used to it and i’m down to being able to cast 2g but it is super smooth and light. Supplements my 0.5 -5g rod perfectly.

A beautiful reel straight out of the box. Despite its light weight feel this reel just oozes quality. From its minimalist colour, to its carbon fiber handle. From the first cast it just feel right in the hand is a great addition to my fishing equipment. I would definitely recommend this reel to anyone looking at trying out in the bfs world or if you’re a seasoned bfs fisher.

Tested in fishing with a light casting rod 3-15g. They manage to launch baits of 1. 5 g (total between = head + bait) at 8-10 meters with considerable ease (good result considering we are below the rod’s range). Switching to heavier lures (5g minnow) the cast extends up to 25-30 m.
With VIB at 7g it goes beyond 30 meters.
Half a day of fishing was enough to gain confidence and not have any more setbacks.
The brake is very adjustable and you can clearly feel the difference between the various settings.
The only problem is that in case of backlashes, the thread, if thin (I used: braid 0.08mm PE0). 2), it can be inserted under the brake. I must say that using the braid, no backlash was unbearable in resolution and I never had to cut the thread to fix it.
The quality/price ratio I would say is excellent.
